The Multicorn is a large feline, similar to big cats on earth, with large spines running down it’s back, and horns on its brow. They can grow more than ten feet at the shoulders, and weigh over 1100 pounds. They are mostly friendly towards humans and other animals, and will not hunt unnecessary prey if they are not hungry. There have been multiple accounts of people taming them, or them joining other creatures in the hunt, for a small profit of some meat and/or protection. They are a muddy brown color, with short fur similar to a lion’s. At birth, they are striped, and around as small as a housecat, weighing nearly 9~ lbs and having longer, more bobcat like fur. The Multicorns fight in packs and like to hunt prey much larger than they are. They will save the corpses in the colder parts of the caves they live in, so they can be used for later. The multicorns’ skull structure is nearly identical to a leopard. Multicorn is from the genus Dens Leonis and there are 12 different subspecies, including, but not limited to, the Lion-Faced, the Tiger-Faced, and the Cougar-Faced Multicorn, Which as their names imply, their skulls resemble other earth felines. The Multicorns most commonly preyed on animal is the Ra-am, mainly the Longtusks. Special saddles have been made to fit on the big cats, and they are commonly equipped for battles and expeditions. The Multicorns status is Threatened, as they are hunted for ritual purposes, as a show of strength and power over the wilds. There are a supposed 500,000~ Multicorns left in the wilderness and around 20,000 in captivity. Luckily breeding efforts have been slowly bringing the population up every year by about 5,000~ and they are thriving at the moment.
