Geojre

The Geojre is a small mammalian creature that has been discovered lurking at the depths of the ocean. They are blind and travel in small groups clinging onto the rocks and pulling themselves through the crushing deep. Appearance-wise, they resemble a small hairless monkey with large arms and miniscule legs. They move by using their long arms to pull themselves, and search through the sand for shellfish. They have large teeth which they can use to break open the shells. They have the ability to extract the oxygen content of their prey, and can hold their breath for hours at a time. At night they will arrive into the surface of the epipelagic zone, wear they will sneak onto boats to sleep, before returning back down. They on average will live for up to 60 years, and can mature by the age of 10, having 3~ offspring in a litter. A group of these creatures are known as a shrool, and they have been known to team up to drag down humans for food. They are currently of no threat as they only attack people dumb enough to dive at night. There status is threatened, as they have been attacked by Waurghs which they are defenseless to.
